‘Believers who have experienced God’s great deliverance in impossible situations often testify, with ‘But God’ in their story.
But God’, a powerful declaration of faith often highlights a contrast between a difficult situation and God’s unexpected deliverance.
This phrase boosts our confidence, increases our faith when we hear such stories and how the ‘But God’ moments turn things around.
It is a phrase of hope and encouragement in a state of hopelessness. It reminds us that even in the most desperate situation God can intervene and turn things around no matter how dire or hopeless. Prayer and our trust in God brings about the ‘But God’ moments when we come face to face with hopelessness.
Put your trust in Him. As you navigate life’s challenges, trust in God and make Him your rock. For with Him nothing can be impossible.
Joseph states in Genesis 50:20 ‘you intended it for evil, ‘But God’ intended it for good. Apostle Paul stated in Philipians 2:27 “Indeed he was ill, and almost died ‘But God’ had mercy on him …”
Some people are in prison because they did not get the opportunity to trust God. They were framed, but you have it now, make use of it. Trust in Him as the moment fly as the song goes. Trust Him as the days go by. Trust in Him whatever befalls you.
With God, all things are possible.
David’s narrow escape from King Saul (1 Samuel 23), and his deliverance from Absalom’s rebellion (2 Samuel 15-18), demonstrates God’s miraculous interventions in our lives when we desperately need Him. Peter’s rescue from prison in Acts 12 shows God’s power. The believers prayers and trust in God were instrumental in Peter’s release. He was put in prison waiting to be killed with no hope, ‘But God’ sent an angel to his rescue. This should deepen our trust in God and recognize His sovereignty in our lives.
David’s bold statement in Psalm 23:4, was borne out of ‘But God’ moment; (Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me …’ ). All those who experience those moments often stick to God. It brings s special kind of bond between them.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, your prayer and trust in God can change the story. Despite humans power and opposition, God’s purposes always prevail. He makes a way where there seem to be no way.
I encourage you to make it a habit to depend on God, trusting Him to make a way in every situation.
