We face various challenges, oppressions and persecutions every time for our faith. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and down. But let us take heart, because we are not alone. Just trust in the Lord you have come to. When you face persecution call on the name of the Lord; He is all powerful and capable of delivering you. King Asa prayed a prayer in 2 Chronicles 14:11 when he faced a massive Ethiopian army that threatened to destroy his kingdom. Despite being outnumbered, Asa cried out to God, saying:
O lord, no one but you can help the powerless against the mighty! Help us, O lord our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this great army. O lord, you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you.

Ethiopia had one million soldiers and three hundred chariots. King Asa and his people could not match them but when he called on the Lord, the Lord our God who outnumbers every number gave him victory. When you are faced with a situation, don’t look at the size of it but call unto God.
All that He is looking for is for us to trust in Him and He will take care of the rest.
When we call on Him, we acknowledge His authority and sovereignty.
Let us walk by faith and not by sight.
By your words you can turn the situation in your favour. Your declaration is a statement of your trust and confidence in the Lord. We walk in the authority and power of God.
Let us appropriate Dinah Hamilton’s song to declare that ‘I am a child of the most High, I walk by faith and not by sight; (2 Cor. 5:7) I speak these words by faith and call it done;’ in the name of Jesus!
I declare that there is power in the name of Jesus
I impose the will of God over every circumstance in my life.
I declare that my faith is my power
I declare that the word of God will prevail over my life.
I may be down but will not be crushed
I rise up in the power of the Holy Spirt
I declare that all things are working together for my good
I declare my chains are broken
I declare yokes broken from off my shoulders and from off my neck
I declare I am free from every form of imprisonment
I declare that satanic bus stops are being removed
I declare a sudden bursts in God’s goodness upon my life
I declare I am advancing in life
I am strong and rich according to Joel 3:10
I will live to declare the works of the Lord
That all that were scattered are coming together
My education is coming together
My marriage is coming together
My job is coming to me
My soul has escaped every snare of the fowler
I declare I overcome challenges
Obstacles and difficulties are being removed.
Mountains are being rolled down for me
I declare my health is intact
I shall not inherit evil
I declare my story has changed
I declare that with God I am in the majority
I seal this declaration by faith and call it done in the name of Jesus. Amen!
