The bible says ‘when men are cast down, then thou shall say there is a lifting up, and he shall save the humble person’ (Job 22:29).

Do not be happy when your brother or sister or neighbour is down. The bible says ‘say there is a lifting up…’. If you encourage him, he will be saved. This is a demonstration of faith in Christ Jesus. There will come a time when you will also need somebody to just say a word to lift you up.

Wish for good things for your neighbour no matter how hateful you may be. Good things happen to people with good thoughts.

It is our duty to lift one others up in their low estate. Let us encourage one another and God will bless our positive confessions. When troubles seem to get others down, say there is a lifting up and God will lift them up. Good things will happen to them.

You also need to make good confessions for yourself.

Things may fall apart but say ‘there is a lifting up’. If you are sick say ‘ I am healed.’ If you are weak, say I am strong; If you are poor say ‘I am rich’. Confess positive things. If your examination result does not go well, say there is a lifting up. Just do not give up. Don’t be afraid. I had a similar experience sometime back. I could see myself dead but I kept saying ” I shall not die. That person lying there is not me.” It continued for 3 good days and God saved me. Sometimes we don’t understand why certain things happen until it is over, then we understand.

Declare positive things when negative situations arise and there will be a lifting up.
