BELIEVE IT OR NOT

by | Oct 2, 2024 | Inspiration

Believe it or not, Jesus is Lord (Luke 2:11) and He is coming back (Mark 13:32) to judge us all.

The enemy is trying to distract people from understanding the signs of Jesus’ coming by making it sound absurd. But it does not matter what people say about Him. It does not matter how people rubbish the word of God. Jesus will surely come. Every one of us will surely be judged by Him irrespective of our beliefs. After death, He is the only one you will meet and there will be no turning back. It will be too late for you to rescind your decision. Even what we have put our trust in will be judged.

We try to surround ourselves with all kinds of excuses not to believe what we hear but it does not change the fact that Jesus is coming. Just as ignorance of the law is no excuse , so is ignorance not excuse for those who refuse to listen to the good news.

We believe we will die but we do not want to believe there is judgment after death. You cannot avoid it so I would encourage you to prepare towards His coming. He has got the world in His hands. He is no longer going to come as a lamb but as a roaring lion. He is no longer coming for sinners but to judge.

This is the time for repentance. He has delayed His second coming so that you and I will have the opportunity to repent from our sins.

He is not going to blame the person who misled you. ‘Each one for himself God for us all’. You can find out the truth for yourself from the bible. He has given the Holy Spirit to help us if we are willing. And the true men of God are also around trying to preach the gospel to you.

One thing we should know is that it is not going to be like a presidential election where the people decide who rules over them. There is opposition alright like the presidential election but at His presence the opposition is powerless, speechless. The opposition themselves on whose side you are will be judged. All they can do is to tell you things that will make you disbelieve what the word is saying.

Matthew 24:37 says, “but as in the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be.” The verse 38 to 39 talks about how they drunk, married and were giving in marriages until the day Noah entered the ark and the flood came.

That is how Jesus’ coming will be. Do not be taken by surprise. He is coming. Look for the signs and repent. Seek Him while you have time.

Jesus is Lord. When we go to the law courts, there are people we call ‘My Lord’ who sit on cases to serve justice. We do not have a problem calling those people ‘My Lord’ yet we have problem accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

He will be the judge of all that we are doing at the end of our lives.

If you will declare Him Lord over your life, He will come into your life. He saves. Time is not on our side. Make up your mind now.
