BUILD YOUR FUTURE RIGHT – MAKE JESUS YOUR LIGHT AS YOU BUILD YOUR FUTURE

John 8:2 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

The biblical meaning of light is truth, illumination, holiness, etc.

What do I mean by making Jesus your light? God is sovereign. He sees what you do not see. He knows what you do not know.

We do not know what will happen to us in the next minute, therefore, make Jesus your light. He is the way, the truth and the life.

He will help you see clearly the path you choose. As a human being you can only see one side of an object at a time but Jesus can see all sides of the object and can also lead you to the right path.

As you grow at every stage in life there will be hurdles to clear; there will be hitches to fix, etc. If you make the light lead you, you will at least have an idea of what is ahead and how to position yourself. Your mistakes will be minimized.

Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path.”

Jeremiah 23:24 says; “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the LORD. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the LORD.”

God has great design for your life. Make Him your counsellor, your director, your coach, even your dumping site. I mean where you vent your spleen, your frustrations, where you express your anger, your fear, your pain, etc. He is there for you. He wants you to involve Him in all your activities.

He is at your door knocking to see whether you will give Him the chance to come in. Before you take any decision, ask Him to guide you. You have been asking yourself certain questions you cannot get answers for. He has the answers, ask Him.

You need understanding, the light will do all that for you; try it. His grace, mercies, favor will be evident in your life. You will stand out wherever you go. You will not make too many mistakes in life if Jesus leads you and not you leading Him. He will keep you in the way through life experiences and make you perfect. It will not be rosy though but do not be in a hurry. Do you not see that with all that you have been striving for, you are still not satisfied?

Even when you are asking for something from your parents, ask Him through prayer. He will cause them to give it to you. Do you know why? Because He is the great provider.

The light directs our path. Let it guide you and you will have great success.
