Remember your creator now is the message. And the message requires action now.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 says remember Him while you are young. Remember him while you are full of energy. This is the time to store up your treasures in heaven for yourself before the evil days come. There is an evil day ahead which requires you to diligently seek Him in order to escape it.

You cannot do much when you are old, which is why you should save yourself from the wrath to come while you are still young.

In your youth, you are inclined to think that there are more years ahead of you. Your attention is also needed by the most high at this time. There are distractions in your youth. There are dreams you would want to fulfil in life. So many thoughts run through your mind. Listen to Ecclesiastes 11:9; ‘Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgement’. Your responsibility lies in fulfilling your God given destiny.

‘The conclusion of the matter is that fear God in your youth. Do not relegate the work of God to the background. For this is the whole duty of man.’
