When The Time Comes

by | Jan 23, 2025 | Inspiration

Somebody sung a song which says ‘if someone says he will not worship our God, do not stress yourself; when the time comes, he cannot resist, he will worship Him. Ours is to tell them, but the rest is for God to do.
Hebrews 8:11 says ‘And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already’.

What happened to Paul, the persecutor of the disciples of Jesus Christ? What didn’t he do to the disciples according to Acts of the Apostles 9:1&2 “Meanwhile, Paul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers. So he went to the high priest.
[2]He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the way he found there. He wanted to bring them—both men and women—back to Jerusalem in chains.”
Who thought Paul could become a Christian? It takes only God to change a person. Our God is a guy. He is the only one who could clip the wings of Paul, change his perspective about Christianity and used him for his gain. God will not always crush our enemies. God knows his own. He did not look at what Paul was doing to his people but what He could use him to do to help advance the work.
So if you are being persecuted because you have found Christ; if you are finding it difficult to win someone to Christ, leave them to God. When the time comes, no one will have to say anything, they will obey. It is just a matter of time. Let them ridicule you. They will grow to understand you when the master speaks.
God calls us individually. According to the scripture, those who were with Paul stood still. The verse 7 says ‘The men with Paul stood speechless, for they heard the sound of someone’s voice but saw no one!’
They did not see what he saw, nor hear what he heard. It was only him and Jesus.’
He went blind, but those around him did not go blind. Only Paul experienced it. Now, they are not listening but they will listen when they hear His voice. That very powerful voice; that irresistible voice which scripture describes that it clears the forest( Psalm 29:9). The voice that carries power. That still small but powerful voice. He knows all of us and he knows the way He takes to bring us to Himself.
